The Insight Show is an event that takes place at Billingsgate in Central London every year. It is used as a show case for Insight Communications to show the latest IT technology to their customers. There are approximately 90 manufacturers represented there and it is incredibly important to stand out from their competitors.
We designed and built the Lenovo stand to echo and align with their current marketing message “Different is better, Different Creates Better, Different Works Better”
Equally important as the marketing theme was the ease of access to the Lenovo product range of laptops, desktops and server whilst at the same time providing space for visitors to discuss their specific business requirements with the Lenovo team. Following the brief and examining the flow of traffic through the hall, we came up with a design that ticked these boxes.
In addition to the product and meeting areas we were challenged to create an
eye-catching focal point to the stand, or a hook. We created a large custom “L” as part of the stand and then filled it with red balls interspersed with other rogue colours (which also matched the Lenovo branding palette). The structure itself became a competition feature as visitors and prospective clients were asked to guess how many balls were in it.
A one day build, a one day show, a complex brief and a challenging venue yielded a bright fun stand and a happy client.
